TOM BARRETT ENTERTAINMENT was a vision that began in 1969 based on Tom's experience as a personality on several Philadelphia radio stations as well as leading a successful wedding band.

In the 70's technology was exploding in all areas of life including the music industry. Tom envisioned the marriage of both by bringing the songs sung by the original artists to weddings which would totally transform the format of wedding receptions.

To design and execute a business that would cater to the utmost level of professionalism, Tom researched the concerns of couples planning their weddings. The focus was to customize each wedding to accommodate individual concerns, music preferences, and to fulfill all of the bridal couples’ expectations by providing a disc jockey who would allow the couple to maintain control of the reception while providing professional service and experience.

The company has experienced a half century of success, having performed over 14,000 weddings with 99% positive approval ratings. As Tom begins retirement, the company will continue to function under the ownership of Ken Dalton who has been Operations Manager for 10 years.

For the past 25 years, Ken has been a DJ/emcee and is extremely detail oriented and committed to maintaining the highest standards of 50 years of excellence.
